Why has my Mānuka honey crystallized?Updated 20 days ago
Crystallization is completely normal in raw honey and is a sign of quality, not a problem. Because we don't superheat or ultra-filter our honey, the natural sugars can form crystals over time. The taste and potency are completely unaffected.
To soften it back up, sit the jar in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes and give it a stir. Just avoid the microwave or boiling water, as high heat can damage the active compounds. You can also find our full guide here.
