What makes this especially unique isn’t just where it comes from, but how it’s made. The berries are processed using a patented, water-only extraction - with no harsh chemical solvents - which helps preserve naturally occurring anthocyanins, the antioxidant compounds elderberry is best known for and what give the blend its deep purple color. The result is an exceptionally potent 64:1 extract, meaning 64 pounds of elderberries are concentrated into just one pound of extract.

Our echinacea is sourced through a long-standing, trusted partner that our herbalist has personally worked with for years. The plants are cultivated in China, where this partner specializes in careful growing and clean extraction practices. The extract contains no maltodextrin, fillers, or added carriers, which are commonly found in lower-grade botanicals.

Both botanicals are extracted using gentle, water-only methods inspired by traditional herbal decoctions. Elderberry is extracted at low temperatures to help protect sensitive polyphenols, while echinacea is extracted slowly in a closed system to capture a broad spectrum of naturally occurring plant compounds - without chemical solvents.
